Webkit Team Demonstrates the Power of Open-Source

The developers over at Webkit have successfully passed the Acid3 test. If you’ve been following the many blog posts over there, you can see the progression towards perfection. It’s quite shocking how quickly they made the bug fixes. They fixed the last 5 bugs in only 4 days. Webkit just demonstrates how quick and powerful the Open-Source community can be with goals.

I also have really enjoyed the blog coverage of their progress. Seeing daily posts covering the bug fixes and simple explanations of the fixes has been a real insight into the process of Open-Source.

You can pull down the nightly of Webkit from the Webkit website and see the 100/100 score for yourself.

Any other Open-Source projects that have great blog progress coverage? Comments are always welcome.
