Development is coming along smoothly down here in the bustling metropolis of Alamo Heights, Texas. Travis and I have just started putting the finishing touches on our UI design as we transition into design #3. We’re both really loving the look and couldn’t be happier. We thought it would be cool to take a break from coding and mock-up a little web page for all our avid onlookers. So, we threw some Photoshopping together, mixed in a dash of CSS, and now we have a little teaser page up on the site for all ya’ll to look at. Oh, wait, you didn’t even know that’s the name did you? Yes, our company name is MACieval as in Medieval, a subtle nod to Tarantino and basically an all around badass name. Some might also connotate this with the Italian philosopher Machiavelli. While a neat coincidence, this was not our initial intention, but either way, we’re really happy with it.

If you noticed, you can see the MACieval logo at the bottom of the site. We have a larger version available here, so you can get a better look at our play on the Apple logo. As our Twitter says, “We’re not Scottish. And seriously, we’re not evil either.”
