A zombie is the animated human body devoid of a soul. The rage infected in this film can be taken down without a headshot and with nerve gas. Also, they are not killing on a primary instinct to feed, they are all just angry, very very angry. They have a desire for bloodlust. A zombie just wants to eat the living.
