ShowYourself- A widget for your web 2.0 life

I’ve been working on something new for the past 2 days, and today I released it. I really think it’s cool and very useful. It’s called ShowYourself. ShowYourself is a widget creation utility for your blog or Myspace. Simply fill in your username to popular web 2.0 sites and it will pop out some html code for you to copy and paste. You can even download the images and host them yourself to insure speed and uptime from your own server. Check out the page and make your own. Let me know if you have any questions or feature requests.
I’ll be posting later in more detail. For now, enjoy and spice up your blog. Check out the digg story too.

Having trouble keeping track of the 37 social media services you use daily? Having an even harder time recalling your profile URL for those 12 social networks you use when a friend asks for it? Don’t worry, now there is Show Yourself.

Beth on 3/13/2007 at 11:59What a great widget !!!
I’d like to add to Jordan’s list.
If you include bloglines, diigo and furl, I could keep track of everything in one place. Amazing. Thanks
Luis on 3/13/2007 at 12:01I’ve copied the code to the sidebar (pasting it in a text box sidebar widget) and all i get is the code itself. :/. Is it because of that “wordpress-script-in-sidebar-intolerance”?
thanks.

qureyoon on 3/13/2007 at 22:04nice widget, but err.. i think it’s better to have it not on the onClick ;)
muthabroad on 3/13/2007 at 22:33This seems really useful. I’ve been on the internet for one month now, and have three sheets of paper scribbled with different account names. Web 2.0 is mind expanding–four different names scattered over twenty accounts are mind exploding. Just one more thing…how do I use it? I was hoping it would be in the toolbar.
Dustin Bachrach on 3/13/2007 at 23:42queryoon,
I just rewrote a lot of the code to use a completelyl css version and table-less version. It also strips all of the javascript out of the widget. It will be released shortly. Check the blog to see when.
