The big news of the week: I’m an owl. On Friday I received my letter letting me know that I got into Rice. It was quite a shock, and a lot of pressure has been taken off. I’ve been wanting to go to Rice for many years now, and it feels great now that I’m in. I will be studying Computer Science there in Houston. I’m psyched!

Oh, and who in Alamo Heights can forget this weekend? Alamo Heights has won state. That’s right, we are state champions. Hell yeah! Giovanni Vizza and the entire football team performed terrifically and dominated. Congrats Mules for bringing the state trophy home!
