BCP 4 Blog- Coming Soon
All right, so Trace and I are going into BCP 4 next year with Mrs. Bradley at AHHS. The fourth year of computer science is independent study, so we are going to be doing cool stuff that we like. All of it is our decisions. As a fun thing to do as well as a way to track our progress (for Mrs. Bradley and others) we are going to be starting a Word Press blog. We will probably host on my server and either use a subdomain or buy a domain name and point it. It’s going to track all the stuff we are doing it. More details will come and I’ll give a link when we get it setup, but for now, here is an intro for the BCP 4 blog I wrote (Trace helped a little
).

You won’t see this on the nightly news, unless one of us dies. Then,
maybe, you might see it on the news. Otherwise you won’t hear about
it. We aren’t working in a garage. We aren’t working in some basement.
We aren’t working at Roswell. We aren’t breaking enigma code. We
aren’t building faster chips. We aren’t even making anything
progressive. You wouldn’t call it difficult or creative or new or even
challenging. What matters is that we are doing it. And within that
lies the challenge, the creativity, the progressivism, the learning.
The fate of the human race does not lie within the hands of these
two kids, these computer hackers in 214 North, although they would hope to one day hold that statement true. They aren’t making something irreplaceable, something innovative, something life-changing but they strive for learning. “These are the
the crazy-ones, the misfits, the rebels, the trouble makers, the ones who see
things differently. While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
These are the adventures of two students. Watch them battle for
learning for creativity and of course for computer cycles.
A final year on the Alamo Heights campus. Independent study. Whatever you want it to be. Explore, learn, design, create, build.
That is the goal.
This is the log.
