Trip to The Ranch
Hey, got back on Sunday from Matt’s ranch. It was his 17th birthday and we drove up and spent the weekend at his ranch. It was a really good time and I got some good pics.
On the way up we stopped at a really good BBQ restaurant in Austin, and I need Matt to tell me the name, cause it was real good. After about 45 minutes after Austin, we drove down to a little known lake out by Matt’s ranch. Here are some of the photos.
O yea, Trace look what we found:
When we got up to his ranch, we went out and walked around his property. We got to a clearing and played some Capture the Flag. Andrew and Matt also got into a little fight and well take a look.
And Matt got a little gift from his bro. A big punch in the balls. As the caption says: “A True Man in Pain”:
We played a whole bunch of sports as well. We played some 2 hand touch football, and Will came away with a scar after he ran into the barbed wire fence. Sorry about that will…
We also got a few games of poker in, and of course, I took all their money, except Matt felt like backing off. He still owes me the money.
Matt got his cake and we sang him a happy birthday. As i recall, it took him 3 blows to get out all the candles.
The morning after we drove into Florence, and found an interesting thing on the side of the road. There was a dead coyote hanging from a barbed wire fence, so of course we got out and took a couple photos.
We drove into Florence, and like expected there wasn’t much. We drove another 15 minutes into the next town and played one game of Laser Tag, but the place sucked it hard. It was a waste of 4 bucks. We drove back to the ranch afterwards and played some Halo 2, and some other sports and then packed up and came back to San Antonio. On the way we stopped at a really good Beef Jerkey place in Johnson City, which Matt also needs to tell me the name of.
Well, that was our weekend. School is off for awhile and I’ll be taking it easy. By the way, if you want, there are some more cool and funny pics on flickr.
Later
