Alright, I’m sorry that I didn’t get a post in while I was up there, but I’ve got a full recap and some photos.

We left for Chicago around 5:00 Tuesday. The flight was on time, and we got into Chicago around nine to ten. We took the tram and got off at the Kiss-n-Fly. There, we met Lisa and Jake and drove back to South Elgin. It was really great to see all the kids again. We stayed in the house next to my cousin’s and we had a great time all around. The next day, we drove up to the cemetery and then over to Oak-brook mall.

We ate at Pegasus, a fantastic Greek restaurant. For the rest of the day we just hung out at home, playing Halo and playing ping pong and listening to music.

The next day was Thanksgiving, and the madness of cooking began. We had my family (3), Lisa’s family (5), Bubbe, Uncle Tom, and the Marshall family (I don’t know the exact number but there are a lot of them). We had two turkeys and plenty of stuffing and salads.

Thanksgiving was really fun, got to catch up with a lot of people. The following day, we got up quite early and drove off down to South Bend to have lunch and spend the afternoon with my dad’s cousins and uncles and aunts. It was nice to see everyone again and I snapped some good photos. Here’s one of Jake, Isaac and me.

We also went to Brighton Gardens and threw a small birthday party for Bubbe.

It was a great trip to Chicago, and like all other trips to Chicago, it has to include Gino’s Pizza and of course House of Tokyo’s sushi.

O, one more thing, we got to see some snow. Wow, its been awhile. I got the chance to write a quick message to my cousin:

Alright, so that was basically our trip to Chicago. Like I said, always great to see everyone again after its been awhile.
