Well its been a while, but I’ve got a pic to show ya’ll.

Right now I’m in art I. As of right now, its really great. Its a great period after lunch (so if I have a longer than expected lunch its not really a problem). Also, if I ever have to do some Bailey (Math) homework I can do it in there. But besides the obvious advantages of a *Blow Off* class, its really pretty fun. We’ve been doing a whole bunch of different types of drawing and painting. I brought home some of my drawings. We used and ebony pencil on these ones. I’m not sure but, I think I worked about a week and a half on this, to get it just right. It was a lot of work but surprisingly fun.

In Art class right now we are working on some painting. We had to draw a radial design and then paint it in with really small brushes. We did a black and white version, a monochromatic version (I used blue) and then a complimentary color version (I used blue and orange). I finished that project up today about half way through class. I’m really satisfied with how it turned out. It looks pretty cool. The assignment was to really get a good handle on blending colors and doing gradients, and I think I was successful in that area. I’ll post some pics of that when we get it back.

In other news…

We get our class ranks mailed to us this week. I guess that means tomorrow. I’m pretty worried. I want to be in the top 10 and am really praying. So I’ll get back to ya’ll on how that went when I get them.

Lets see… What else? Not much has been going on. I went to services for Rosh Hashanah on Tuesday. Good service, but the sermon was a little lacking.
