PodSafe Music

I’ve been using the iTunes Music Store for almost two years. I have bought 399 songs. The big 400 is coming up. Anyways, I got into the trend of paying for music and steering away from things like Limewire and Kazaa. Recently, I’ve felt the urge to go download music for FREE. And you know what? I did. Except, not illegally. I’m not kidding. I downloaded music for free and I didn’t break the law. I heard about this on two podcasts: Rock and Roll Geek Show and Adam Curry’s The Daily Sourcecode.

It’s called PodSafe. Check out music.podshow.com. Its a huge collection of free indie artists who post some or all of their music on the internet for free. You can download it, put it on your iPod, or even podcast it.

I’ve searched around it a bit and so far have downloaded 87 songs. Some of them are ok and some of them are very very good.

For instance, I’ve discovered this awesome band called American Heartbreak. Check out their site and download 3 of their songs. I particularly like “Raise Up Your Hands.” Really cool song.

I also found this song called “On A Podcast” by Cruisebox. Its a fun song about the whole podcasting concept. Check it out.

Anyways, go out and explore and start downloading music for Free and Legally.

Until next time,
-Good day, Mr. Stewart.
